What Do The Following Scan Reports Indicate?

Consider surgery.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again XXXXXXX
I reviewed all our previous discussions and seems I have exhausted all the answers about your condition, except this one, that's why I'm answering:
Whiplash is a mild neck soft tissue injury (stretching) that resolves in a week or two with or without treatment.
So, at present, there is not such as thing as whiplash.
In addition, if herniated disc disease, spinal stenosis and myelopathy are evident diagnoses, there makes no sense to discuss about whiplash.
If you continue to experience same or worsening symptoms even after correct conservative treatment, you should consider having surgical treatment.
ACDF at C5-C6 is the best way in your case. ( According to my opinion ).
Hope I've been of help.
Take care.

there is no weakness..just stiffness and pain...
do you think the neck itself is stable
also did you look at my back scan.. I have sole and foot pain..is this related and also a servere urinary issue.. wanting to go to the bathroom all the time..
thanks
Lumbar column degenative disc disease at first stages.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Disc at C5-C6 is causing cervical canal stenosis, so the disc is herniated.
If you wait till you start to feel weakness, prognosis is more reserved and recovery longer, and could be incomplete too, if too time passes.
Neck is stable regarding to dynamic x-rays.
There are two protruded and degenerated discs at L4-L5, L5-S1, especially at the left side so foot and sole pain could be related to these protrusions, but there seems to be no need for surgery at the moment.
Urinary problems, if not improved after successful UTI treatment, could be related to spinal cord compression.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Yes, it is possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Yes, it is possible that spinal cord stenosis could cause urinary problems, but there is need first to exclude urinary tract conditions that affect urination function.
Best regards.

Partial stenosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Intervertebral disc is located anterior to spinal cord, so only if it protrudes posterior can cause cord compression.
There is partial stenosis by the herniated disc, if stenosis was complete, there should be more severe symptoms.
Hope you find the answer helpful.

Periradicular injection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again XXXXXXX
I suggested injection in our previous conversations as a simple and easy step to improve your symptoms before going to surgery and hopping to avoid it.
In my view, there should be done a periradicular injection at C5-C6 in the side of the pain, but epidural injection could be used too.
Hope you will get better soon.
Take care.

Anterior single level discectomy is sufficient.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back XXXXXXX
A nerve conduction study could help in differentiate if the nerve is compressed at the exit from spinal cord at in periphery.
Single level surgery is the most mini-invasive approach.
After surgery may worsen temporary the numbness or pain, but if all goes well, there are no symptoms left.
In your case I think anterior single level discectomy is sufficient.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Best regards.

what is involved in a nerve conduction survey
Nerve conduction study is a simple test.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Nerve conduction study is a noninvasive simple test that assesses the electric functionality of a given nerve.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
