Brief Answer:
AST, ALT marginally raised, vit D supplement needed, free T4 suggested

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
AST and ALT are liver enzymes.
They are elevated in injury to liver cells due to any cause.
The increase in ST and ALT is mild, AST being more than ALT.
People who consume alcohol on regular basis may have elevated liver enzymes.
Other causes include viral infections, certain drugs etc , however, the level is not very high so as to suggest any severe damage.
Your report shows low vitamin D, you need to take vitamin D supplements for this after prescription from your doctor.
Total T4 level is low, but you have not posted the result of total T3 and TSH.
If Total T3 and TSH are normal, then I suggest you to take up free T4 to know the exact status of T4.

Thanks and take care

Actually I do not consume alcohol at all and that is my main concern. I was reading about primary sclerotic cholangitis since the AST:ALT about 1.7 I was thinking may be I have it but I don't know if it is a legitimate concern or not

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Primary sclerosic cholangitis not likely since other liver tests normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
Primary sclerotic cholangitis is one of the cause of elevated AST and ALT.
However, with the presence of other liver function tests i.e. bilirubin, protein etc within range, this possibility is not likely.
A viral infection, drugs etc may cause mildly elevated AST and ALT levels.
I suggest you to take up the test within next couple of months to look for any improvement.

Thanks and take care
