Brief Answer:
A weeks session of traction wll help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
You have very mild disc protrusion and no nerve root compression. You are suffering from what we call the industrial back ache. The first step is to ensure that you maintain an appropriate posture while working on the computer. Take frequent stretch breaks and drink lots of water. Discontinue using pillow while sleeping straight. Do not lift heavy objects, especially after bending down. Eat a healthy wholesome meal which should satisfy your minerals and proteins requirement.

The most essential and long lasting remedy is exercises. There are certain back strengthening and neck isometric exercises that you must learn from a physiotherapist and perform them at home or work whenever possible. You can also undergo a weeks session of traction at your physiotherapist's clinic.

Last but not least, if its unbearable take medications or muscle relaxant prescribed by your physician.
I hope this answers your query.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your valuable suggestion. Sir, in the context of your suggestion i would like to inform you that in past i have triest low back exercises but due to unbearable pain and in some times due to giddiness i was forced to stop the same. One of my friend was facing severe back problem like me while exercising but after the course of 4 months of traction his problem vanished and he is fit and relived from back pain. If there is any harm to body in taking pelvic traction for 4-5 months under physiotherapist. Pl. advice me.

With Regards,
doctor

Brief Answer:
Start traction and exercise after acute pain subsides.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
You can start with a week's session of pelvic traction and in case it helps and your physiotherapist feels necessary then you can continue it for relief. it is best to take muscle relaxants and let the pain subside completely and then start the exercise only under the guidance of a professional physiotherapist.
Hope my answer is helpful.
