Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached reports. The right hip shows degenerative changes with decreased joint space. The sub articular sclerosis is also considerable. This needs a hip replacement to control the pain. Without the surgery the pain can become unbearable and there can be restriction of movement. Hip replacement is a safe procedure. It is better to opt for the surgery than to lead a painful miserable life. Your condition will improve after the surgery. No need to be disheartened.
I hope this answers your query.

Resurfacing can be done.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
At your age a resurfacing will be a good option. Total hip replacement can be avoided for now if your surgeon agrees for resurfacing. I advised you regarding surgery since your X-rays show an advanced arthritis and the joint space is grossly reduced. Conservative treatments are only for short term relief. I intended to advise you regarding a long term treatment.
Hope my answer is helpful.
