What Do These Biopsy And Histopathology Reports Indicate?
Question: Can MOPP chemotherapy protocol and full body radiotherapy for Hodgkin Disease IVB (1970 -1972), plus R-CHOP chemo for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (2004), plus resection of five lymph nodes and surface tumor for sweat gland cancer and current status of indolent Large Granular Lymphocytic Leukemia be totally ignored as partial causes when making diagnosis -- after surgical removal of several samples of lung tissue -- of Respiratory Bronchiolitis (associated) Interstitial Lung Disease? Brief Answer:
Yes, RBILD is more likely.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since you are saying that biopsy and histopathology is suggestive of RBILD, possibility of RBILD is more.
You have also reviewed the slides with another pathologist. So no point is thinking other diagnosis other than RBILD.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
