Could Severe Pain While Going Through Stairs Be Related To CLL And Lack Of Immunity?

I have had CLL for 19 years and am in remission from Rituxan treatment 3 years ago. I had total knee replacement 6 months ago and exercise 4-5 times a week. I cannot get past the pain I experience going up and down stairs. Does Cll and lack of good immunity cause this? I am 73, 5 6 and weigh 67 pounds.

Hello,

The severe pain while going through stairs is more likely to be related to lack of stamina. This can also be caused by low levels of hemoglobin and overall weakness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
