Question: Patient is 37 weeks pregnant.
Attached are latest medical reports. We are planning to visit doctor on 5th April
Based on reports just want to check is there anything urgently required to act.
Brief Answer:
NORMAL BLOOD REPORTS. NEED COLOR DOPPLER STUDY.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
1) Blood reports are all most NORMAL. Elevated ESR, RDW and Neutrophil count are due to physiological changes in pregnancy. You shouldn't be worried about that.
2) I suggest her to undergo one Ultrasound scan with Color Doppler study to evaluate fetal well being (specifically growth & development) as previous scan report revealed that AC (Abdominal Circumference) was lagging by 2 weeks. It is also useful to rule out IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction). Kindly, consult with your obstetrician following scan and Doppler study.
Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.
Wish her good health and successful motherhood.
Regards,
Dr Soumen
