Brief Answer:
Infection of Lungs

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your question on HCM

I do understand your pain and discomforts

As per your clinical history as well as chest X-Ray report is concerned these markings are by blood vessels supplying nutrients to the bronchi and bronchioles in the lungs and it happens due to an inflammation as well as infection only.so nothing to be worried at all, do a clinical examination by your treating doctor and he will prescribe you an antibiotic.

Hope you got your answer

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Chest X-ray report

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your quick follow up question

As per your query is concerned my answer is it is a radiological term which indicates enlargement of mediastinal lymph nodes of pulmonary hila and it can be due to various causes not only cancer only. So a doctor who is checking you physically only he will correlate with it.

Secondly there is no lesion or nodule detected in x-ray and it is bilateral not unilateral.

If any doubt about cancer arises in the mind of your treating doctor then he can perform a biopsy in a number of ways, including bronchoscopy, in which your doctor examines abnormal areas of your lungs using a lighted tube that is passed down your throat and into your lungs or he can do [mediastinoscopy] in which an incision is made at the base of your neck and surgical tools are inserted behind your breastbone to take samples from your lymph nodes.

Hope you got your point clearly if any further doubt arises please do not hesitate to ask me and do not worry about cancer at all.

Thanks
