Brief Answer:
Surgery

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I am Dr Gopal Goel ,Orthopedic Surgeon.
You have Intertrochantric Fracture of the (L) hip.
Ejection fraction in left ventricle is 72% which is very good.
In my opinion you should undergo surgical fixation. Reasons
1. Near anatomical reduction can be achieved
2. Early mobilization- I start walking next day of surgery in my patients with support .
3.Chances of stiffness of hip and knee are remote due to early mobilization.
4. Disease of prolonged immobilization like venous embolism, bed sores ,chest infection are avoided.
Problems:
1. Diabetic status- Blood Sugar levels have to be controlled before operation and maintained thereafter.
2. Infection_ Now a days infection rates are very low due to surgical prophylaxis and clean OT environment.
On the basis of above points , I recommend surgical treatment ASAP.
Thanks for the question. Please feel free to ask any further query.
