Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Left main artery is the most important artery of heart, so if any complications occurred during Stenting or if stent blockage occurred then consequences will be grave. So Bypass takes the upper hand over angioplasty. So I think you should undergo bypass.
Secondly, stress thallium is also is stress test which you have already underwent and it was positive. so I don't think there is any more need of stress thallium. Only role of stress thallium is to asses whether you should undergo either procedure or just wait till percentage of blockages increase. But I think blockage is significant and it's in important artery. So you should go ahead with Bypass.
Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.

2. How is it that there is such a high blockage despite the fact that I do not have any symptoms?
3. Is it possible that after by-pass or stent, I may develop blockage again and yet not develop any pre-warning symptoms? Do I have to undergo stress tests periodically to monitor my cardiac health after stent/by-pass?

Detailed Answer:
Since bypass is a major procedure, the risk during surgery and early post operative period is more than stent, but there are chances the stent may get blocked with time and sometimes may occur suddenly, and in such situations there will no alternative channel for blood to heart.
You are having blockages in main artery but not critical. Blockages become symptomatic usually over 80%, yours is 70-75. since it is caught earlier, better to intervene. You might have became symptomatic after sometime.
Re blockages can occur, but routine periodic testing in not needed. If you have any symptoms then it should be done.

No it will put you at increased risk
Detailed Answer:
It's a normal blood pressure for you. Because your heart function at the moment is normal, that means this much blood pressure is sufficient for your body. This will not put you at an additional risk of any complications just because of lower blood pressure because it's not an abnormal blood pressure.
If someone has got decreased heart function and low blood pressure or any other abnormal causes for low blood pressure say severe infection then it will increase the risk, not in your case. Hope this helps you.
