What Does "1.3 Cm Long Interhemispheric Lipoma In The Frontal Region Of Brain" Indicate?

Question: Hi, I recently had an MRI because I've being noticing that I'm having difficulty with my speech,i also notice i repeat the same thing, my memory has gotten extremely bad, and my Vision from my right eye in 3 occasion has become completely dark.. well the MRI findings was that I had a 1.3 cm long interhemispheric Lipoma in the frontal region of my brain... how bad is it. I still haven't spoken to the neurologist I took a peek into my chart When I had an unrelated doctors visit..I need to know if it's bad?

I have gone through your findings in detail.
You have small inter hemispheric lipoma and mostly it is an incidental finding.Inter hemispheric lipoma is an abnormal fat containing structure in mid line of the brain in frontal (anterior)region.
It is not related to your symptoms at all.These are congenital in origin and rarely are symptomatic.Typically these lesions are managed conservatively and doesn't require operation.

It is important to know about status of corpus callosum(part of brain) because it may be associated with corpus callosum abnormalities.You should wait for complete detail report so that it can be managed in a proper way.
