Brief Answer:
IgG is from mother's blood.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The presence of IgG antibody in the cord blood is suggestive of the antibodies that are transferred into the baby from the mother's blood. This does not indicate any current infection. So, no active treatment is needed right now.
It is best to get the baby examined by the pediatrician for the presence or absence of skin lesions (petechiae or purpura) or microcephaly. A thorough neurologic examination to look for abnormalities in muscle tone, as well as the presence of seizures or abnormal newborn reflexes also is important .
Early neonatal infections may not show a positive IgM titre.
Blood tests and physical examination are integral parts of an early diagnosis.
