What Does HCG Level Of 89 On Day 17 Indicate?

Question: Hi Doctor, I just had my 2nd Hcg after 2 FET and it showed 89 (day 17).. can I know if both embryos have been implanting..? Thanks

Brief Answer: Difficult to confirm without an ultrasound scan. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. Normal beta-HCG levels in early weeks (after conception) are as follows: 1) 0-1 week > 0-50 mIU/ml 2) 1-2 weeks > 40-300 mIU/ ml 3) 3-4 weeks > 500-6000 mIU/ ml and so on (Peak level on 8 weeks). The HCG level of 89 on day 17 after embryo transfer is likely to be due to a single implanted fetus. But this can only be confirmed after a TVS ultrasound scan.
