Brief Answer: Go for an MRI Detailed Answer: Hi. As per history provided here , you are a male of just 33 years of age. The X-ray is just an indicative investigation and you need to undergo an MRI of the region to confirm and get the proper diagnosis which guides for the further management. The positive findings on x-ray noted and the final treatment would be decided by the exact picture an MRI will show. The medical treatment according to your x-ray would be to give the area the rest and may be a lumbar belt. Avoid sudden and jerky movements to the back. Get the clinical examination done to decide whether there is any neurological deficits and so on in a lower limbs and to have neurological evaluation. The treatment would be to take bed rest, antiinflammatory medicines, avoid sudden movements of the body over the spine, mild laxative if you have constipation. MRI will guide for further management.
