What Does A Alkaline Phosphatase Level Of 134 Indicate?

This past year I underwent two Moh's therapies one on arm and one on leg
It was just bcc but it went deep - I had complications on my leg (delayed wound healing, and infection)
I have recovered but my leg is still bouncing back to it's new normal - following a big reconstructive surgery
Normal rise in relation to the surgery, Dont worry , just monitor levels
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
ALP is a group of enzymes found primarily in liver which is elevated in cases of liver and biliary tract pathology. However, in such cases, the Alkaline phosphatase levels are much higher than 134. A two fold increase can be considered as significant for ALP especially in the presence of liver or bone pathology. Avoid any alcohol consumption. Just monitor the levels monthly to look for any significant rise and get your other liver enzymes done along with an ultrasound abdomen. Such a rise in ALP in relation to the surgery is mostly expected as part of the healing process. You need not worry.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
