What Does A Boil Under The Scrotum Indicate?

Question: I am away and think I have a XXXXXXX under my scrotum in the sack. Size of small grape. I have been in bathing suit for a week. Just occurred over last week. Can I wait to see a doctor another week and a half. Is there something I should do now?

Hi,

Boils are common in scrotum. Apart from boils, Sebaceous cyst is also common.
Boil will be painful and fever may occur.

You should consult your doctor and get checked.

If it is not possible, then you can use Antibiotic like Clindamycin capsule along with anti inflammatory tablet.

Is it ok to just apply hot compress and wait a week and a half UNTILL I get back to NY from the Caribbean or should I have it looked at immediately. I feel good otherwise exept for s little discomfort where the XXXXXXX is.
Also is it ok to go in the ocean and pool as long as I clean and dry off afterwards?
