the brown spot is a mole that used to be all one color
Brief Answer:
Keep the mole under observation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
It is good that the color of the mole has not changed.
In future the mole should be regularly observed for any change in color or size.
In case any of these changes appear or any other symptom like itching, pain or any other change develops, you have to report it to your primary health provider for further work up.
If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.

the mole used to be all flesh color, now it is half brown with a little mole starting to grow off the side
Brief Answer:
Clinical assessment of lesion required
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
A skin colored lesion which is becoming pigmented suggests a pigmentary lesion of the skin e.g. mole.
However, growth of the lesion suggests that the lesion is undergoing hyperplasia and/ or hypertrophy.
Consult a dermatologist for clinical assessment of the lesion.
Thanks and take care
