Question: IThave approximately a one inch long narrow soft lump inside my upper right arm. The texture is sort of like a vein when it is pushed on .It moves back and forth when I flex my muscles .It does not hurt .It was the size of a pea then one half inch .It has grown over the last 5 months from one half of an inch to approximately 1 inch. Do you have any idea what this might be ?thank you so much
Brief Answer:
Could be Lipoma. Can get FNAC done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Cant say with surety but it could be a lipoma. I would suggest you have it shown to your Doctor to relieve you of your doubts and concerns and an FNAC could be arranged by him to know the nature of the growth. It does not sound dangerous or cancerous to me but its always better to be sure. FNAC is an investigation in which they will put a small needle into the lump and aspirate some cells and see it under a microscope to know what it is. It is fairly painless. So do not worry. Let me know if I can help you with any other queries. If not then please help us by rating the answer. Take care.
