What Does A Mass In Lung Indicate?
Question: I had a chest cat scan after coughing up blood which showed I have a 6 cm mass in my left upper lobe. Having a needle biopsy next week. I am a basket case, very anxious. Today I woke up with a rash on my back, that can be a symptom of TB. I wish I could stop thinking about this. have a great dr, but I am in the state of shock. Any suggestions XXXX

A lung Mass is unlikely to be Tuberculosis.
A lung mass is usually an Abscess or Malignancy.
A rash on back is not a sign of Tuberculosis.
I would like to know a few more details, before i can help you better:
1. How is that rash? Size?
2. Which part of the back it is? Upper or lower?
3. Attach a pic of that rash
4. Attach your investigations including Chest Xray and CECT Chest.
5. Need to know your Platelet counts if done.
6. Any fever?
I would just say, getting anxious is not the treatment or solution for any problem.
Face it, get it investigated and treated.
