What Does A Paiful Bruise On Foot Indicate?
It seems to be cellulitis(infection)
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,
After going through your query I concluded that you may be suffering from cellulitis which may be non infective or infective.Your doctor has said that it is cyst then it is not simple cyst, it is infected cyst. As pain has reduced it will resolve in few days. If you have no fever then no need to worry much. You can take analgesic such as diclofenac. If you have fever then it may need antibiotics. Hot fomentation with warm water will be helpful. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wishing you good health.
Take care.
It will resolve gradually.

Hi,
Welcome back.
After going through your query and follow up query I want to say that little swelling is not of much worry as it doesnt hurt and still no fever. Keep limb elevated on pillow during of rest and in night. Start active ankle and toe mobilization exercises and stop hot fomentation now. Whether you are diabetic? You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
