Brief Answer:
Olecranon bursitis

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your helath care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you have a soft tissue swelling on your left elbow. This is known as olecranon bursitis. The elbow gets bumped a lot and sometimes the sack around the elbow will then swell up and leave you a soft tissue enlargement. This is completely benign and unfortunately there is no treatment. It may with time lessen in size. Trying to drain off fluid only increases the risk of infection and complications. The fluid will reaccumulate even after drawing it off. So I would not recommend any procedures.

In summary
1. Olecranon bursitis
2. No treatment
3. Avoid any injections or drawing off of fluid. May increase risk of infection and further complications
4. Will get smaller over time

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional question
