What Does Abdominal Pain After Unprotected Intercourse Indicate?

default
Posted on Thu, 2 Mar 2017
Question: Had unprotected sex 2 nights ago and a few hours ago, my partner ejectulated inside both times. My only concern of taking plan b is because I'm already experiencing abdominal pain. Will plan b heighten these symptoms? Will it still be effective if I take it after ejectulating twice?

Brief Answer:
95% effective.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The efficacy of plan B decreases if taken after 48 hours. Since you had sex two days ago also the chances of pregnancy are there. Taking Plan B will give you 95% protection against pregnancy. The mild pain in abdomen can be due to intestinal colic. it will not be increased after taking Plan B.
