Then pretty normal periods because of BC pull. Since kids vey heavy. My kids are 3 and 5. Recently had a very weird period. Lasted a long time with spotting .then didn't have one for more than a month. Then had a period for an hour. Then light spotting. Then nothing. Now have been bleeding heavily for a week. 2 negative pregnancy tests. Any ideas?

Brief Answer:
Get pelvic ultrasound and hormone tests done

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani.

Sometimes there can be prolonged duration without period after stopping the birth control pills and this is normal.
The irregular bleeding that you are having could be due to hormonal imbalance that usually occurs in women around this age. This hormonal imbalance can also occur due to stress(physical or emotional ), sudden change in weight etc.

The other reasons for such bleeding are presence of endometrial polyp, thyroid disease, increased secretion of pituitary hormone prolactin.
So I advise you to consult your Gynecologist and have pelvic ultrasound and hormone tests done.
I hope this helps. If you have further questions I will be happy to answer.
