Question: MY TOTAL SERUM CHOLESTEROL IS 229MG.LDL IS 168MG.HDL IS32MG.PLEASE ADVICE.I HAVE NO HABITS.MY WT IS 64KGS. MY AGE IS68YRS.

I understand your concern.
Your lipid profile is deranged but not to the level that you require medications.
I advise you following:
1. Get your Fasting Blood Sugar checked.
2. Get your blood pressure checked.
3. Start exercises. Brisk walking for atleast 30 minutes a day.
4. Avoid oil, ghee, butter , rice, potato , sweet.
5. In case you consume alcohol, you have to stop it.
In nut shell you require diet modification and regular exercises. This will get your lipid profile to Normal levels.
Just follow this and get your Lipid Profile repeated after 3 months and share your report with me.
