What Does Circular Welt Like Rashes On Back, Hips And Thighs Indicate?
Systemic allergic condition
Detailed Answer:
Hi
You seem to have developed urticarial skin rash .
This is basically an allergic skin rash which can occur after intake of any food items causing allergy or any drugs or even during episodes of any body infections .
Please tell if you have been taking any drugs recently like pain killers or antibiotics.
Any episodes of cold cough or fever or urine or abdominal infection?
Is there increased allergy on intake of any specific food items or after eating outside food .
You might need to get certain blood investigations done like complete blood count with eosinophil count ,thyroid profile ,urine and stool routine tests to find out the cause of the allergy .
In addition ,you might need to take a regular course of oral antihistamines to control the allergy.
Hope it helps

I have been trying to trace back the foods I have eaten but there is nothing that stands out. I had preciously thought it was from my soap or laundry detergent which ive never used before or even a new lotion. I just arrived to the USA on a fiance visa so I do not have health insurance. I went to a urgent care facility for a fee my cheif complaint was chest pains which giving my workout regimen was diagnosed on spot as costochondritis along with a ever grown bump in my wrist also which was to be related to my workout Gangionil Cyst. The Docotr gave me Vimovo for the pain and inflamation. However, I've only taking the medication less then two weeks and it happened prior to the medication but I thought I should Include it. At this visit I also informed the Docotr of a itch in the groin area. Which he gave me a treatment for jock itch with a antifungal pill which was taking for ten days 1 pill the jock itch cleared up. I dont know if its a change in environments, seeing as thought I am from Lagos, Nigeria and arrived in New England US in February. I have made a doctors appointment for a full physical a month from now when I should be able to afford it. I received a full physical in accordance to US Embassy standards which no problems were found. Since I have been in the US I've experienced all these things including a rapid heartbeat that keeps coming back throughout the day. Please if you could help me I would really appreciate it!
Urticarial skin rash ,avoid drugs
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
From the details you have provided,it looks like you have been on multiple drugs over the past few weeks .
All of these along with a change in environment could have contributed to the increased urticarial rash .
You should avoid pain killers as far as possible.
Take some oral antihistamines like levocetrizine or loratidine daily at night regularly for two to three weeks ,then if the allergy is in control ,shift to half tablet daily ,and then slowly wean off the drug .
In this manner ,the allergy will slowly come under control. Your local doctor will know about the drugs.
It is good that you are seeing a doctor in a months time ,since a complete check up will surely help in ruling out other causes .
Also the increased heart beat that you have been noting recently could be basically palpitations, which can commonly occur due to anxiety or stress ,however if the episodes are too severe or too recurrent, then ruling out other organic causes like anemia or hormonal irregularities or a cardiac assessment might be required.
