What Does Difficulty In Sleeping While On Montelukast Indicate?

Question: I have been taking Montelukast sod 10 mg for about 3 weeks. I have always been a good sleeper and now all of a sudden I can't sleep. I might go 24 hours without sleep and then sleep for two hours. Today I started crying for no reason at all and everything seems to bring on the water works. I am not normally a tearful person. Is it the drug?
