Attaching my US results. Dr Anushl, can u please review? I had CT scan done for a different reason and they found a liver cyst. Got US done.
I travelled to India from US in summer and stayed there for 4 months. Noticed lower left abdomin pain and went to doctor. They did ultrasound in India and found nothing. Doctor gave me some pip medication, dewarming tablet and 5 day cource with Antibotics. That didn't help much.
Returned back to US and saw a doctor, he asked me to get upper endoscopy done. That came out normal, no reflex problem. But i developed high fever on the day of Endoscopy, so went to ER, they did CT scan and found this complex cyst. Here is the ER ct scan report. I am waiting for stool culture, liver MRI results

Hello! Thanks for putting your query in XXXXXXX I am a Gastroenterologist (DM).
From the report of CT scan and clinical scenario you have mentioned it appears that it is liver abscess due to either bacterial or Entoamoeba histolytica (Amoebic liver abscess). For this get Complete hemogram and liver function tests, Serology for Amoeba and should be treated accordingly with antibiotics.
Echogenic debris in cyst suggest pus in cyst

Doctor, I am attaching the MRI reports and ultrasound. Can you please review? Thanks

Detailed Answer:
Hello! I have gone through the report of MRI, it suggest that there are multiple cyst possibly polycystic liver disease which is usually asymptomatic and remain so through out life. However if they become symptomatic any time they can be treated accordingly. So what I will recommend you to get repeat imaging after 3 months to see the status of these cyst.

Thanks Doctor! I am also attaching the CT scan reports took on Oct 30th. The first test they did on the night of Upper Endoscopy test. I was giving antibotics for Aspirational Pnemonia.
One more question, in July 1st week i got an Ultrasound done in India which finds nothing. I am concerned about why all these cysts are being found so quick. Do they come so fast? Do you see any relationship with unsafe food/water i was exposed to india all over might have triggered anything? Please see attched CT reports. Thank you

Detailed Answer:
Hello! i have gone through all the attached reports
Usually ultrasound is very sensitive for detection of the cyst, if it was normal at that time suggest that cyst have appeared later on. Usually the infected cyst do come so fast. it may be possible that in July the size of the cyst was small or it was reported wrong. No there is no relation with unsafe water or food unless it is an infected cyst. However MRI report clearly mentions that there is nothing suggestive of any infection.
If you do not have any further query , you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you a good health.

Thanks dictor.Ok, thanks. But ultrasound done in US mentions 'echogenic Debris' what do u think that means?
Brief Answer:
Please see the details
Detailed Answer:
Hello! Echogenic debris means some part of the fluid in the cyst is thick which may suggest infection of that cyst, however MRI is not suggestive of such thing which is more senstive and specific test for the same
