Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Normal heart rate in adults is 60-100 beats/minute.
Any thing less than 60 is called bradycardia.
For a child of 9 years about 80-90 beats per minute is quite normal.
Even 65 beats / minute is not bad if it is regular i.e., the interval between 2 beats is same throughout.
Better take an ECG and then come to a conclusion
Such variations are common in children due to various reasons.
I do not think any serious problem.
Even then you may contact cardiologist if you like to be more sure.
Chest pain in children may occur due to trivial reasons.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
