Question: Kindly opine on attached ecg, what are furher tests required and prognosis, does it specify about any past ailments

Possible old inferior wall myocardial infarction (heart attack)

Hello,
ECG here, first thing is heart rate is around 60 which is borderline heart rate. Is he on any drugs like metoprolol or atenolol, if yes this is the cause for his low heart rate.
Secondly there are q waves which is means there is a damage of heart wall, and most common reason for this is myocardial infarction called as heart attack by layman. However, it can be present in some individuals normally or reason other than heart attack. If there is history of chest pain in the past or at present then it suggest heart attack. If there is no such history, then may or may not be a heart attack. Then in such situations we should get stress thallium or treadmill test done if patient is able to run in order to rule out heart disease.
Otherwise ecg is fine, no significant other abnormalities.
