Brief Answer:
Medical treatment would help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your wife's medical details and the fact that her stroke is progressing.

As of now, she should be started on anti-platelet agents- either clopidogrel or aspirin tablets, to prevent stroke progression. A statin such as rosuvastatin tablets should also be used.

She should be investigated for the possible risk factors for stroke, such as high cholesterol, sugars, blood pressure, and homocysteine. Heart disease should also be excluded. Any risk factor, if identified, should also be controlled.

With the above treatment, her stroke can be treated and progression prevented.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
