What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Question: Thank you.
Since fall of 2014, I have had issues with my ears, low grade dull ache, extreme itchiness with dry "snow flake" type discharge, increased tininitis, vertigo, headaches, very congested mucous over eyes, down back of throat and large quantity of discharge when blowing my nose. I recently obtained a report from
an MRI taken in XXXXXXX 2014 where it states "moderate debris and opacification within left mastoid air cell
likely inflammatory. ..minimal mucosal thickening in paranasal sinuses". I have asked my Doctor to send
me a an Ear, Throat and Nose Doctor....my request goes awry.....He has sent me to two specialists that
ask me "why has He sent you here?". Would you deem this a serious issue that needs an ETN Doctor,
or am I over reacting?

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I read carefully your query and I can understand your concern.
From the finding on MRI it seems that you have a chronic middle ear inflammation and chronic sinusitis.Since your symptoms are persistent and progressive ,you need to consult a specialist for a detailed examination and proper treatment.
In your case a ENT doctor is the most appropriate doctor to consult.
Hope it helps.
