What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?
There is some risk involved.
Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
It is true that flying due to the changes in pressure and oxygen levels may in some post concussion patients exacerbate symptoms like headaches. So when possible it is best to be avoided. However one can't put life on hold and I understand that in some cases flying may be really necessary. Not all patients get worse, in many cases there is no influence from flying.
In that case it is important to sleep and be well rested before the flight (if possible to sleep during the flight as well), to be well hydrated and to use headphones. Such measures reduce the risk of the symptoms appearing.
I remain at your disposal for other questions.
