Brief Answer:
I would say May 10.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again and thanks for asking me directly.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

It makes a little difference, however, I would prefer May 10 mainly due to weather conditions.

It is not too warm or too hot and you have the summer ahead to recover after surgery.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Kind regards.

which surgery date would you pick to have the severe stenosis in your c4-c7 cervical spinal cord removed and thus decompressed with fusion to prevent any further progression (hopefully) of your CSM symptoms?

Brief Answer:
Sooner is better.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

By CMS you mean congenital myasthenic syndrome, right?

Another reason why to choose May 10 is the timing, if your symptoms are worsened by day, sooner is better in order to prevent any permanent neurological disability.

It is not sure if decompression of the spinal cord will improve CMS symptoms too, but it is very likely an overall improvement in neurological symptoms.

Hope this helps.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
Thanks for the clarification.

Detailed Answer:
Okay then, thanks for the clarification.

Myelopathy related symptoms should improve at least partially after successful spinal cord decompression.

One thing is sure, if left untreated, myelopathy progresses.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Best regards.
