What Does My MRI Scan Test Report Indicate?
avoid pregnancy at this stage
Detailed Answer:
Hi pushpagandhi
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
How was your day?
Hope this message finds you in good health.
I have gone through your query in detail and understand your concern.
i have seen your mri reports and the discharge summary. its almost 1 year since the mri was done. the disc undergoes many changes during one year and i suggest you should get a fresh mri done to see how the prolapsed disc has progressed over this period.
Presently, it seems that you still have some pain and as you rightly said that the low back pain will definitely increase in pregnancy and delivery.
from the old mri, i guess, you should have got operated and got the prolapsed disc removed, so that by now, you would have been fine and ready for another pregnancy.
My personal opinion is- TREAT THE LOW BACK PAIN FIRST- THEN GO FOR PREGNANCY.
because if you dont get the disc problem corrected before pregnancy, then if the pain increases during pregnancy then you wont have much options to deal with.
A fresh mri is highly recommended and get it done before getting pregnant.
Do share the fresh mri reports with me so that i can guide you further
You should eventually get back to normal in coming few days.Nothing to worry about.
I hope your question has been answered.
