What Does My MRI Scan Test Result Indicate?

Question: Recent MRI scan shows 9mm subdural collection in the left parafalcine region anteriorly unchanged from previous scan. Plain English please. Is this new, has it been there for some time. What symptoms would it have caused. Is it relevant to me today.
Brief Answer:
This is not new lesion
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I appreciate your interest.
This finding was there for sometime as written.
The MRI scan report says there is about 9mm diameter of some collection of fluid whether it is edema, pus or blood under the duramater (outer most of the three coverings over the brain ) and beside falx which separate the two hemispheres of brain in the middle. This findings was part of the earlier MRI scan as well. So there are no new occurrences to this finding.
Since it is not new and did not produce any new symptoms it may not be relevant for you today during the discussion with the GP's.
Thank you.
