You father are having Age-related hearing loss (presbycusis) .
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX ,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your father query , read report , reviewed medication and understand your concern.
After reading your father clinical history & reports it appears that you father are most probably having Age-related hearing loss (presbycusis).
Pure tone Audiometery test showing Bilateral mild to moderately severe sloping sensorineural hearing loss indicate Age-related hearing loss (presbycusis) due to inner ear hearing loss more on left (40db) than right (33.3db) .
It is less likely to come back .
Tympanometry test showing Type "A" for both side indicate normal middle ear pressure with no disease in middle ear . It is normal result .
If I were your father treating Doctor for this case , I would advice him
Hearing aid - behind ear type or body wear to improve hearing level &
continue multi vitamins minerals antioxidant syrup like Zincovit syrup to prevent further age related hearing loss .
No need to take any other test.
Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
