What Could Be The Ringing Sound In The Ears And Not Decreased The Hearing Capacity?

Hi doc,
i m suffering from low ringing in the ear... It feels as if something is inside it but it isn't as said by doc.. My ear is quite clear... Its feels as if muscles are contracting n then relieving continously.. Hearing hasn't decreased much and recently i suffered from cold cough but it was over much before this ringing started.. Its been 2 days... I m not able to understand wat to do...

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Ringing in ears is called tinnitus.
Tinnitus can occur due to multiple reasons.
Infection is one of the cause of ringing sensation.
You need to consult an ENT specialist and get tympanometry done.
Tympanometry will give the detailed picture of the ear functions.
If the ringing is due to infection, clearing of the infection will suppress these symptoms of tinnitus.
