Brief Answer:
Hepatitis c

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

I have gone through the reports and it looks like you are suffering from hepatitis c, which is a chronic but curable illness. Here is how you should go about it

1. Please do not ignore the matter any further, it might lead to permanent liver failure
2. Approach a hepatologist as soon as possible, even a gastroenterologist is fine
3. You will have to get a liver function test and an ultrasound of the liver to see for any long term changes that might have happened
4. next step would be to get a hepatitis c viral load and genotype
5. Sofosbuvir is a new drug in the treatment of hepatitis c with upto 93% cure rates. Ask for it

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Regards

Brief Answer:
Chronicity

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back

I am sorry for the short delay in my reply, your reply went unnoticed in my inbox

The chronicity of Hep C is not based on the viral load but it is based on lover parameters.

1. Ultrasound showing cirrhotic ( hardening of the liver)
2. Liver function test showing low albumin and raised bilirubin
3. If the SGOT and SGPT is raised then it often indicates that it is still acute

I am once again sorry, please get back to me if you have any doubts. I will be happy to clarify them
