Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Your liver enzymes are significantly elevated.
It indicates you have hepatitis (liver cell damage).
Your albumin globulin ratio is more than one which indicates you do not have chronic liver disease.
What symptoms you have?
Why was this test done?
What is the ultrasound scan report?
Any other tests done?
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

When I was in Dubai i use to visit the doctor for regular general check up every 3 months and every 6 months blood test. During one visit doctor while checking the report found SGOT level and SGPT level higher(SGPT 93 U/L). He suggested for an ultrasound scan , result was fatty liver and he told its not a major problem.
Now i am in XXXXXXX 2 days before i went for a check up and blood test. In that i got the result for liver function test which is my SGOT level and SGPT level higher.
So sir kindly suggest whether it is a major problem or what type of treatment i should undergo.

Brief Answer:
Fatty liver
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your liver enzymes are significantly elevated.
The most common cause is fatty liver.
An ultrasound scan of the abdomen may be done to confirm it.
Also get tested for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C which are significant causes.
If it is due to fatty liver do the following.
1. Reduce weight if obese
2. Control blood glucose and cholesterol levels
