What Does My Colonoscopy Result Report Indicate?
Question: I had a colonoscopy Wednesday using versed and fentynal. They removed 8 polpys. Since Thursday I have had 100.8 fever at the highest cold chills. Body aches and a little mucous cough. Is this something to be concerned about?
Brief Answer:
not related to colonoscopy
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
I don't think you should be worried since this may be just a respiratory infection and I don't think this is related to colonoscopy or anesthesia at all.
You should rest a lot, take plenty of fluids and if there will be worsening, you should do lung X-rays to rule out any pneumonia and then antibiotics if required.
Feel free to ask further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
