What Does My Hip MRI Report Indicate?

I had a MRI on my hip that revealed stress fractures, burstitis, and a hip impingment with calcified labrum. I could not remember if he said the labrum was torn but hip is in pain. Is arthroscopic surgery the only option. he said if not treated will lead to furth problems down the road including the possiblity of a full hip replacement.
what are your thoughts
Hip joint inflammatory changes.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to health care magic. I an Dr Ganesh.
1.The MRI findings suggest the possible cause in the case would be chronic inflammatory changes in the joint space. Why i am calling it chronic since torn and calcified cartilage with probably reduced joint space. ( features of arthritis )
2.The next possible cause avascular necrosis will be another differential and finally post infective aetiology of the bone with stress fracture.
3.Arthoscopic surgery is the less invasive surgery and best in your case, If delayed further reduction of joint space with rubbing of bones in the hip will need THR - total hip replacement ( which is not recommended in your age)
4.Mean while take symptomatic therapy, and exercises to give pain relief and joint movements. Followed by the surgery.
5.A general blood picture for serum calcium levels and to add supplements if required. Suggest get rectified as soon as possible to avoid complications.
