Question: Please see attached report. Am getting pain (not severe) near to spine and shoulder right blade, and is kind of radiating to tricep and forearm area of right hand. Please tell me what it is ? Also, I ride a motorcycle and work out at Gym should all this be stopped now ? Is this a severe problem, will this be chronic ? I am a Software professional who spend 8-10 hrs in front of computer. My friend who happen to know a neurophysician prescribed Synaptol RS 300 Mg and Gabandin Forte for 5 days (1/night).

Brief Answer:
Possible cervical spine disc disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

I apologize for the delayed response owing to my work schedule.

I worked through your query and attached reports in detail.

You possibly seem to have a Cervical degenerative disc disease.

This is causing spine compression and corresponding symptoms.

Your doctor has prescribed the right kind of medication. These are neuroprotective agents.

This issue has primarily arisen in the context of your occupational behavior.

This might initially be treated with medication and exercise to prevent worsening.

If uncontrolled with the above measures, a surgical correction may be required.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you

Thank you for the answer. But I do not think I have any disease. I never got this symptoms before naturally, this occurred to me when I ran Marathon in 2013 and now with heavy weight exercises at the gym. That was the cause, and in 2013 I was advised to stop running which I did and it got resolved. Now I got this again due to heavy workouts, am not sure how do you categorize this as disease. Can you re-consider and provide an appropriate explanation ? Also, refer this to an orthopedic or neurophysician. Your explanation is really worrying now :( :(

Brief Answer:
Reconsidered cervical disc disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

I apologize for the delayed response owing to my work schedule.

I worked through your query and attached reports/images in detail again.I have consulted a XXXXXXX neurosurgeon in this regard as well.

Your symptoms clearly pertain to the underlying cervical spine and its disc issue.

There is loss normal cervical spine curvature.
There is severe disc compression at C6/C7 level, which is causing spinal cord compression responsible for producing arm and shoulder symptoms.

Such less severe compressions are present elsewhere at other cervical spine levels.

This disc degeneration is usually insidious in onset and usually runs a progressive course.

At this point, I advice you to seek an expert opinion from a NEUROSURGEON rather than a neurophysician.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you
