Brief Answer:
early pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
I understand that she has been tested positive for beta hcg with lower normal range of 6.28. The best way to check for viability of pregnancy is when serial beta hcg monitoring is done 48hrs apart and there is a 65% rise in the hcg levels from the first reading. So ideally a repeat beta hcg should be undertaken after 48 hrs of first test to look for rise and confirm viability.
Anyhow utrogestan can be continued as a support to the pregnancy until the serial beta hcg rules out viability or there is no arrival of foetal heart beat till 7 weeks gestation or if there starts a bleeding naturally.
This may be a chemical pregnancy but cannot be confirmed without a serial beta hcg testing and as its early gestation ultrasound may not be conclusive other as of now. so ideally 6-7 weeks gestation is the best time to analyse the viability of pregnancy and if any bleeding occurs then USG can be done for natural abortion confirmation.
However progesterone support can be continued.
