What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand our concern.
I presume that you have all found it out in routine check up and not having any specific symptom or problem.
Your reports are definitely slightly deranged but not of any substantial nature.
Such reports are routinely encountered and many people are found to have such parameters.
Ideally a liver is around 16 cm large and in your case it is enlarged by around a cm.
Similarly your blood parameters are also just outside the range.
A grade 1 fatty liver suggests that here is mild accumulation of fat in your liver cells which has made it little large and hence a slightly increased echotexture of your liver.
Although you may not have any symptoms but still you need to take some action so that this condition doesn't progress further, although it is almost near normal at the moment.
A grade 1 fatty liver can progress to grade 2 and 3 and then liver cirrhosis,in certain cases
Treatment would depend upon finding the cause in you and then removing that cause.
Causes for fatty liver and liver enlargement are....
Increased consumption of alcohol, obesity, increased cholesterol and triglyceride levels in blood, diabetes etc.
Treatment involves quitting alcohol, loosing weight and controlling diabetes and cholesterol levels,if they are high. These lifestyle modifications are the only treatment and frankly speaking, there is no specific medicine for this.
If you adopt above mentioned measures, you would be all right in next 3-4 months.
In case you find that your your liver size and liver enzymes don't reduce,in spite of quitting alcohol ( if doing it ) and loosing weight in next 4 months time, you can consult a gastroenterologist for that.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Hanks
As I told you earlier, treat the basic causes.
Control your diabetes and cholesterol levels.
RAZO D has no role in this but can be taken for 2-3 weeks,if you are having hyperactivity.
Continue with EVION 400 mg once a day.
As explained earlier, there is no specific treatment for your condition.
Shed your weight by at least 10 kg.
You would be all right gradually.
Thanks
