Brief Answer:
Mononucleosis test is positive and is a possible cause of your symptoms.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Thank you for the results, I can now access them.
I had a careful look at the tests you sent and am very happy to say that the CBC is normal and HIV tests are negative (normal). Also HbA1C is normal values that rules out diabetes.
You do have a positive test for Ebstein Barr virus the so called Mononucleosis which is a virus that in many patients might cause fatigue, myalgias (body pains) and sore throat that can last for months in some cases.
There is no specific treatment for Mononucleosis and the mainstay of treatment is keep as active as you can. Drink well and eat healthy diet and use pain killers (Ibuprofen and paracetamol) to help with pains. You will need to check with your doctor if your spleen is large and if so you will need to avoid extensive exercises as this might cause rapture of the spleen and serious bleeding. This is not very common and very likely because it is several months with these symptoms now, spelnomegaly (spleen enlargement) seems less likely but is good to be really sure this is the case as it is preventable complications if you know you have large spleen.
It is good your body pains are random, this means it is improving. For the sore throat might help using throat lozenges or sprays, or gargling with a 2 percent lidocaine (Xylocaine) solution to relieve pharyngeal discomfort.
I hope this is helpful and answers to your question but please feel free to let me know if anymore clarification is needed on this.
Kind regards,

Dear Doctor;
I have no doubt about your knowledge as you have helped me a lot to alleviate my health condition for the past months, I really appreciate. I would discuss this with my doctor in the next annual medical check up.
However, could you please recommend throat lozenges or sprays.
Many thanks.

Brief Answer:
Explanation on different kind of lozenges
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
I am very happy i have been able to be a help to you.
As for the lozenges, there are different types of them depending on the intensity of your pain.
Lozenges with menthol or honey like Halls and Strepsils can be used to soothe the throat and help with pain if it is not severe. the advantage of these is that you can use long time.
For more severe pain lozenges with benzocaine/menthol can be taken- this might cause some numbness in the mouth and you might need to avoid eating in the first couple of hours having it and also avoid giving it to other people. i am not sure you can use these for a long time as these cause the numbness and some patients might not be so comfortable having that mouth sensation for a long time but sure when it is strong pain it is worth trying those.
I hope this helps to answer your questions but please feel free to writ me in case you still need more clarification on this.
