What Does My Myocardial Perfusion Test Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Mon, 27 Jun 2016
Question: I don't have any blockage in my artery but rarely I get chest discomfort on my extreme left chest and followed by that I used to get increased heart rate for atleast 5 mintues time, Last year I did angio as per the report I have , type III LAD has muscle bridge. By going through the net I understood the implications of this. But my Dr. said there will be minor pain due to squeezing but I can ignore it. Followed by this i did percusion test , my Dr. said my anxiety was the cause for the shortness of breath.

Is there any yoga exercises can help increase the size of the artery which gets squeezed? Can weight exercises cause my artery to stop supplying blood to my left ventricle as the heart rate increases. Any special diet that I should follow. I was taking lot of coffees due to this I developed severe indigestion last week , my extreme left portion of the chest discomfort was due to indigestion ??

I've done angio by 2006 first time, that was when I was doing heavy weight exercises. During exercise no pain no issues, late night I developed chest pain due to which 2006 they did an angio though by ecg and echo was normal. By 2014 , I was doing weight exercises for 2 months no pain but I experienced shortness of breath due to which they repeated angio by 2014 , my DR.said there was no diff between 2006 & 2014 Angio... After this I stopped my weight exercises. But Last week though I didn't do any exercises I was experienced chest discomfort at the extreme left portion of my left chest followed by that I had a tachycardia for few minutes and settled down on its own.. But I was having serious digestion problem on that day and had stomach bloating and severe reflex was there .What could be the cause ??

I attached my angio reports for your review , will also attach my percusion test reports

Herewith attached my myocardial perfusion reports

even my Dr told this perfusion report is also very much normal ??? Am looking for other Dr;s opinion as well. But its really causing concern for me as I need to spend more time on my IT profession in terms of learnign new technologies and handling day to day work related challenges.. On the other hand this heart confusion is putting me in trouble..

Brief Answer:
Heart tests are normal.Better to evaluate for acid reflux disease.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can certainly understand your concern.

I have worked through your report's.

All your heart investigations are within normal limits.

The chest pain in your case is related to dual effects of heavy exercise and indigestion.

Underlying acid reflux disease can cause such symptoms.

At this moment, I advise you to get an upper Git endoscopy For further therapeutic management.

Avoid heavy exercises and frequent coffee intakes.

Post your further queries if any.

Thank you.

Thanks Dr. I did Git endoscopy 2-3 times in the past , the one was the latest one it was normal but I was having frequent belching on that day (last week). Can indigestion caused the discomfort ??

I have only 3 questions

1. Frequent sqeezing on my LAD artery by heart muscle will that cause the
artery get narrowed in future ? How severe my muscle bridge , is that just
superficial ??
2. By eating fibre rich food can help/strengthen my artery which gets sqeezed
by this muscle daemon ?
3. But how come I was not getting any chest pain when I was doing weight
exercises even 6 months back . 2 years back etc., ??

Brief Answer:
Muscle bridge removal is mandatory

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I have gone through your latest reports as well.

The muscle bridge seems to impede the blood flow to heart during the period of diastole only that at rest and with minimal exercise.

With heavy exercise this effect is lost.

In presence of normal endoscopy and past history of positive Trop T and unstable angina , it's advisable to get this muscle bridge removed through radiogrefrequency ablation /RFA technique.

Although diet and exercise limitation can prevent its worsening, it's important that you consult an electrophysiologist for above treatment.

Electrophysiologist is a Cardiologist expert in dealing with technique of RFA.

Hence I advise you consult him at the earliest.

Thanks Dr.
As per your advise, will contact electrophysiologist in XXXXXXX on this Monday.
RFA is mainly for electrical signal related issues right ??? Using RAF can the muscle bridge be removed ??

Brief Answer:
RFA can remove such muscke bridges.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

Yes certainly the muscle bride can be removed with RFA.

Accessory muscle bundles in heart are often removed by this procedure.

Your EP Cardiologist will give you many more accurate details with regards to the procedure.
