What Does My Pathology Report Indicate?
Question: If an original pathology report doesn't mention teratoma or sarcoma can you go back 5 years and say it was? I read the report and nothing was mentioned until 4 years later when 3.5 supraclavicular mass that was also found in 2008 but went unbiopsied or followed up on. The doctors are saying sarcoma was always there. The mass grew 50 times it's size by then and was then called TMT
Brief Answer:
Slides can be reviewed if biopsy done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
According to your question you want to say that you were misdiagnosed previously.
However if you don't have any previous reports or slides then we can not say it was there.
If the biopsy slides available then only we can review that and we can say that whether sarcoma or teratoma was there or not.
If you have issues then tou should consult medicolegal person for that. He can guide you better.
If you have any health related questions then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
