What Does My Scan Test Report Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I got another scan result
Brief Answer:
Live pregnancy with good prognosis
Detailed Answer:
Congratulations dear!
I was hoping for this since our last discussion and happy to inform you that you have a live pregnancy growing well with a fetal pole which is a good prognostic sign.
So now you need to be extra cautious in taking rest and all the medicines as advised.
Also discuss with your doctor the need to add HCG injections which are given every five days and help in sustaining pregnancy.
In case you have any questions about it, please feel free to ask.
I'm very happy for you and may god bless you with a healthy baby soon.

Ok, do i change to the 10mg duphaston progestrone tablet or continue with the cyclogest 200mg vaginal one?
Brief Answer:
Continue cyclogest
Detailed Answer:
You can continue with cyclogest 200 and take HCG injections as well which will suffice.
I usually give HCG injections till 12 weeks because after that placenta starts working which helps in compensation of the required amount of support.

I need to know the types of urinary tract infrction and likely cure nd symptoms
Brief Answer:
Painful and frequent urination
Detailed Answer:
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is usually caused be bacteria and mostly easily curable with simple antibiotics.
UTI presents as pain in that region while peeing and urgency to go for Urine but micturating only a very small amount along with increased frequency of urination.
In a few pregnant patients there is a tendency for UTI because of pressure of pregnant uterus on urinary ducts called ureters in case there occurs 3 or more episodes of UTI during pregnancy then the patient needs daily intake of prophylactic dose of antibiotic.
So in general urine microscopy and culture is advised to all pregnant patients at the start of pregnancy.
