Question: Could you explain the significance of my thyroid ultrasound results? I am being evaluated for a pheochromocytoma.

US Thyroid:

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

With you having a possible pheochromocytoma following the results I discussed on with you earlier, with an ultrasound reporting thyroid tumors, you could be suffering from multiple endocrine neoplasia type IIB. For now, getting the tests completed to make a clear and definitive diagnosis is what matters. Follow up with your doctors on this and after that, treatment would be suggested accordingly.

I am available to provide more input into this but for the moment mapping out the exact disease condition is what matters. I remember exchanging with you on the results of your pheochromocytoma testing.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. It s a process to get it established and there is no emergency. Be calm and relaxed and follow through.
