Question: HI, My husband collapsed a month back, we thought it was a seizure as he was a patient of epilepsy long back, but all his reports i.e. MRI, EEG and Sleep Deprived EEG. But there was some problem in Table Tilt test, so doctor recommended us to see cardiologist. I need help to understand whats wrong as its been a month now and we dont have the reason for the collapse.

Brief Answer:
Probably orthostatic (postural) hypotension.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

In my opinion, the reason for that collapse was orthostatic hypotension, or lowering of blood pressure when changing body position from laying or sitting to standing.

This diagnosis is supported by negative EEG findings about seizures ( if I understood correctly ), and positive tilt table test, wich is the most used test to diagnose orthostatic hypotension.

I agree with your husband's Doctor opinion about Cardiologost evaluation of this condition, because heart problems are related to orthostatic hypotension among others.

Heart conditions that need evaluation/exclusion include bradycardia, heart valve problems, etc.

Hope this helps. I remain at your disposal for further questions and clarifications.

Best regards.
